Updating pricing and availability from Calendar
To update various values in your calendar, select a date, and a pop-up will appear with the following options:
- Selected date range
- Pricing
- Availability
- Rule sets (For Airbnb or other channels)
- Calendar notes
Pricing
To update pricing for a specific day and share it with all connected channels, you should follow the next steps:
- Go to your Hostaway Dashboard > Calendar > Monthly
- Select a day > Click on "Pricing."
- Enter the price in the box
- Save
Update prices for several days
There are 2 ways:
- Select a day and use the slider to move from left to right through the calendar
- Select a day and then use the date selector to bulk update your calendar
Bulk percentage updates for your calendar prices
You can update prices across multiple dates at once using a percentage change—helpful when you want to adjust rates consistently while keeping each date’s price proportional to its current nightly base rate.
What you can do
- Select multiple dates in your calendar
- Apply a percentage increase or decrease to the nightly base rate for all selected dates in one action
How to apply a percentage change
- Go to your Hostaway Dashboard > Calendar
- Select multiple dates on the calendar
- In the modal, open the Pricing section
- Choose the percentage change of the nightly base rate
- Enter the percentage change and apply it

Availability
To update availability for a specific day and share it with all connected channels, you should follow the next steps:
- Go to your Hostaway Dashboard > Calendar > Monthly
- Select a day > Click on "Availability."
- Select the minimum stay for that day
- Select the availability for that day
- Select if the guest can check in/check out that day
- Save
Disable Days for Check-In/Check-Out
There are particular days when your listings are available to rent, but your team isn't available to check in or check out a guest. In Hostaway Calendar, you have the option to enable/disable check-in or check-out on specific calendar days.
Available for all booking channels, it allows closing dates for check-in or check-out without changing the listing's availability. For example, if you won't be available to greet guests and deliver the house keys on January 28, you can now close the date for check-in, so guests can stay at the property as long as their reservation doesn't start on January 28 (since on this date, guests can't check in).

Editing Check-in/Check-out Restrictions on Reserved Dates
Previously, once a reservation existed on specific dates, the check-in/check-out restrictions for those dates could not be removed. Now, even if the date already has a reservation, you can open the interface to remove or adjust the restrictions.
From now on, there is no need to forward “remove check-in/check-out restrictions” requests to us. You can manage this yourself using the following steps:
- Go to your Hostaway Dashboard > Calendar
- Press Cmd (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows) and click on a reserved date in the calendar
- A modal will open to update the “Guest can check-in/out” settings and calendar notes, instead of the reservation details pop-up
- The reservation details pop-up is still accessible with a normal click on the date
This allows you to change:
- Check-in / check-out restrictions
- Calendar notes
Operation in Booking.com
Check-in/check-out restrictions are only applied to the rates in Booking.com that are directly connected to Hostaway, or child rate plans that copy restrictions from Hostaway-connected rate plans. To adjust your child rate plans, please contact your Booking.com account manager.
