Creating a listing in Hostaway

This can be used when you are not importing a listing from Airbnb but choose to create a new listing in Hostaway. Please follow the next steps to create a listing in Hostaway:

1. Go to your Hostaway Dashboard > Listings
2. Click on "Create New +"
3. Fill in the mandatory information
   • Basic Info 
     • External Listing Name. It should have a maximum of 230 characters including spaces
     • Person Capacity
     • Property Type
     • Room Type
     • Bathroom Type
   • Address
     • Enter your address. Google will pre-fill the information
     • Public Address. The public address is generated by the address available in Google Maps for the pinned location. It is not possible to edit this field.
       • If Address and Public Address do not match you can try
         • Updating the address correctly in Airbnb and then re-importing the listing to Hostaway
         • Moving the pin on the map in Hostaway listing settings to get the correct address
   • Media
     • Drag the listing photos and videos you would like to display. For new listings, photos can take up to 24 hours to be displayed on the Booking Engine
   • Price & Fees
     • Base Price. The default rate is applied to all dates. The selected currency cannot be modified
   • Additional info
     • Minimum nights
     • Check-out time
     • Check-in time start
   • Amenities
     • Scroll down to Policy > Select if suitable for children/infants
