How to connect to Operto Teams

Steps on Hostaway

  1. Go to the Hostaway Dashboard
  2. Click on Marketplace within the dashboard
  3. Search for Operto Teams and click the Connect button

  4. Click Create to generate your API credentials
  5. Copy your Account ID and Secret Key

The secret key is shown only once — save it somewhere safe.

 

Steps on Operto Teams

  1. In your Operto Teams account, navigate to Setup > System Settings, scroll down to the API Connections section, and click the Add API Connection button.

  2.  Click on the Hostaway logo.

  3.  Enter your Hostaway Account ID and API Secret Key from Step 1.

 

If you are already using Operto Teams and switching to Hostaway from another PMS, follow these steps

  1. Property Matching
  2. Merge the Hostaway feeds into previously set up properties
  3. Navigate to Setup > Properties
  4. Filter by Region: Region not Assigned
  5. For each property, use the Merge Feed To dropdown and select the previously set up property
  6. Master Calendar Review. With both feeds active, the new bookings should exactly match the old. 
    1. The Master Calendar will allow you to easily review for import errors
  7. New Task updating
  8. The new bookings created new tasks. Use the Scheduling calendar to schedule the new tasks and update any notes to match the old tasks' schedules and notes
