How to connect with Aquamind?

Aquamind is the all-in-one pool and spa automation platform built for short-term rentals. It unifies Pentair, Hayward, Jandy iAquaLink, and other compatible pool systems into one simple interface for guests and one powerful dashboard for property managers. Aquamind connects with your PMS so pool heat, spa heat, and AUX equipment can follow each reservation automatically—turning authorized pool heat on for check-in and off at checkout, while keeping guest heating locked unless paid. 

Steps on Hostaway

1. Go to the Hostaway Dashboard
2. Click on Marketplace within the dashboard
3. Search for Aquamind and click the Connect button
   
   
    
4. Click Create to generate your API credentials
5. Copy your Account ID and Secret Key
   
   
   
   ⚠️ The secret key is shown only once — save it somewhere safe.
6. Turn on real-time updates
   1. In Hostaway: Settings → Integrations → Unified webhooks → Add webhook
   2. Webhook URL: https://rrvhqfpdlhsrvihtxxjk.supabase.co/functions/v1/hostaway-webhook
   3. Listing: All listings. Channel: All channels. Events: reservation.created and reservation.updated.
   4. Leave Login and Password blank. Set Enabled to Yes. Save.
   5. New and changed reservations now reach AquaMind within seconds. A backup sync also runs a few times a day.
      
      
       
7. Add a field for the guest link
   1. In Hostaway: Reservations → Custom Fields → Add custom field
   2. Name: AquaMind pool link. Type: Text. Public: Yes. Create.
   3. Hostaway gives it a variable such as {{reservation_aquamind_pool_link}}. Add that variable to the guest message you already send at check-in — that is how the link reaches the guest.
      
      

Steps on Aquamind

1. Paste the key into AquaMind
   1. In AquaMind: Settings → Reservation source
   2. Choose Hostaway.
   3. Paste the Account ID and the API key. Click Connect.
2. AquaMind checks the key with Hostaway on the spot and shows "Connected".

That's everything on your side. AquaMind matches your Hostaway listings to your pools and points the guest link at the custom field from step 3 — usually the same business day. You'll get a confirmation when reservations start flowing.
