Intellihost is a revenue analytics, pricing intelligence, and search-rank tracking tool for short-term
rental operators. Connecting your Hostaway account allows Intellihost to automatically import your
listings, calendar, rates, and reservations so you can monitor revenue performance, pacing, pricing
recommendations, and booking-funnel health across your entire portfolio in one place.
The whole process takes about 3 minutes. No manual property mapping is required — your listings
sync automatically.
Steps on Hostaway
- Go to Hostaway Dashboard
- Click on Marketplace within the dashboard
- Search for Intellihost and click on the Connect button
- A small box will appear > Click on Create
- The Account ID and the API Key will be presented in a new window
- Copy your Account ID and API Key and keep them somewhere safe for later
Steps on Intellihost

Log in to Intellihost at https://clients.intellihost.co. If you don't have an account yet, you can
Sign up for free at the same URL - In the left-hand sidebar under Profile, click Connections
- On the Connections page, find the PMS card and click Connect PMS
- A Connect Your Data modal will open, showing a list of supported Property Management
Systems. Select Hostaway by clicking its option, then click Continue
- The Hostaway credential entry screen will appear. Paste the values you copied in Part A:
- Account ID — paste your Hostaway Account ID

API Secret Key — paste your Hostaway API Key
- Click Connect
- Intellihost will validate your credentials against Hostaway. If they're correct, you'll see a green
“Hostaway account connected successfully!” confirmation. If you see an error, double-check
that both values were copied without leading or trailing spaces, and that the API Key hasn't been
revoked in Hostaway

- Click Done to close the modal
What happens after you connect
Once connected, Intellihost automatically:
- Imports all your Hostaway listings as Intellihost properties — no manual matching required
- Syncs the next 365 days of calendar data, including rates and availability
- Imports your reservation history so revenue analytics populate immediately

Registers a webhook with Hostaway so future changes — new bookings, rate updates,
calendar edits — flow into Intellihost in near real-time
Initial sync usually completes within a few minutes for smaller portfolios and up to 15 minutes for
larger ones. You can begin using your dashboard right away as new data populates.
Managing your connection
After connecting, the PMS card on your Connections page will display your connection status:

View status: The PMS card shows Connected with a property count and last-synced
timestamp -
Manage your connection: Click Manage PMS on the Connections page to view the connection
details, see any sync errors, or disconnect -
Disconnect: Click Disconnect in the manage view. Intellihost will deregister the Hostaway
webhook and delete your stored credentials. Your historical analytics in Intellihost are retained -
Reconnect: If your API Key is ever revoked or rotated in Hostaway, click Reconnect in the
Manage view to enter new credentials
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Resolution |
| “Invalid credentials” error when clicking Connect | Re-copy your Account ID and API Key from Hostaway. The API Key can only be viewed once, so if you've lost it, generate a new one from Settings → Hostaway Public API in your Hostaway dashboard. |
| Listings are not appearing after 15 minutes | Check the Connections page for a sync-error banner on the PMS card. If none, click Manage PMS and review the connection details. If the issue persists, contact support@intellihost.co |
| Connection shows “Disconnected” unexpectedly | Your API Key was likely revoked or expired in Hostaway. Regenerate it (Part A) and use the Reconnect button on the Connections page. |
