Use this guide to review rate settings, markup, rate plans, and length of stay in Booking.com and Hostaway when your channel manager sync is not updating rates or availability as expected.
What is this?
Make sure that your rate plans are set up as new rate plans. These should be standalone rates, since linked rates cannot be correctly synced from Hostaway. If your rate is linked to another rate, it will be necessary to remove it and re-create it as a new standalone rate plan.
How to configure Booking.com Rate Plans, Markup, and Minimum Stay
Rate plans, markup, and minimum stay are managed directly in Hostaway through native Rate Plan Management. The markup is configured per rate plan:
- Go to Channel Manager → Channels → Booking.com → Manage rate plans.
- Click the rate plan you want to edit (or click Add rate plan to create a new one).
- In the rate plan panel, enter the Markup you want to apply on top of your base calendar rate.
- Set the Minimum stay and any other fields as needed.
- Click Add rate plan. The change syncs to Booking.com automatically.
