TechTape is a tech-enabled service, not software. You need to have an active account with TechTape prior to enabling this integration.
Steps on Hostaway
- Go to Hostaway Dashboard
- Click on Marketplace within the Dashboard
- Search for TechTape and click on the Connect button
- A small box will appear > Click on "Create"
- The Account ID and the API Key will be presented in a new window
- Copy your Account ID and API Key and keep them somewhere safe for later
Steps on TechTape
- Go to TechTape's Connection Page to start the connection process
- Confirm that you have a fully executed service agreement with TechTape. If not, please schedule a call
- Click on Connect Hostaway Account
- Paste the Account id and API key into the respective fields, and click Next to continue.
- Invite TechTape to your Hostaway Account to add TechTape as an Admin-level user on your Hostaway account. Once that is done, check the Yes box and click Next.
- Company and Contact Info, where you’ll input your business information.
- Channel Commissions: fill in the commission for each channel your properties are listed on, and then click “Submit” to finalize the connection to Hostaway.
Your Hostaway account is now connected to TechTape. We still need to integrate with your dynamic pricing software. Our team will reach out afterwards to connect to your dynamic pricing platform.
