Connect Hostaway to Top Villas
Enabling the connection between Hostaway and Top Villas has two simple steps: First, you must email admin@thetopvillas.com your contact information, Hostaway ID, Hostaway Client Secret API Key, and the number of properties.
Once the connection has been established, the following info will be transferred from Hostaway to Top Villas:
- Property details (title, description, location, bed number, sleep number, etc.)
- Amenities
- Images
- Availability (calendar)
- Rates
This is a two-way connection, allowing Top Villas to both receive content from Hostaway and place reservations directly via the API. Static data (property details, amenities, and images) will not refresh in real-time once the connection has been established. Top Villas must be notified of any changes so that a manual refresh can be triggered to update this content.
Steps on Hostaway
- Go to Hostaway Dashboard
- Click on Marketplace within the Dashboard
- Search for Top Villas and click on the Connect button
- A small box will appear > Click on "Create"
- The Account ID and the API Key will be presented in a new window
- Copy your Account ID and API Key and keep them somewhere safe for later
Steps on Top Villas
- Email Top Villas at admin@thetopvillas.com to request that they enable the integration between Hostaway and Top Villas.
- Please include:
- Owner/company name
- Owner/manager email address
- Total # of properties you’ll be adding
- Hostaway account ID
- Hostaway API Key
- The Top Villas team will use your API keys to retrieve your properties through the live feed
- Once received, these will remain in pending status while you undergo onboarding in preparation for the homes’ addition to the website
- Once onboarding has been finalised, the Top Villas team will review properties and work to prepare listings in line with the channel’s content and standards guide
- Once properties have been added to the site, the team will then be able to provide you with the respective URLs.
