PointCentral has partnered with Hostaway to automate guest user code creation.
What does the integration do?
The integration exchanges information between PointCentral and Hostaway to streamline guest code creation. Once a reservation is made in Hostaway, PointCentral will create a user code for the guest, which is then listed in the Hostaway reservation.
Steps on Hostaway
- Go to Hostaway Dashboard
- Click on Marketplace within the Dashboard
- Search for PointCentral and click on the Connect button
- A small box will appear > Click on "Create"
- The Account ID and the API Key will be presented in a new window
- Copy your Account ID and API Key and keep them somewhere safe for later
Steps on PointCentral
- Email APISupport@pointcentral.com with the Account ID and API Key gathered from the previous step.
- PointCentral will use this information to configure the Hostaway integration and map the PointCentral Customer IDs to the Hostaway units/listings. If PointCentral is unable to accurately determine the mapping for some listings, API Support may follow up for assistance to confirm final mapping.
Important: The Hostaway Listing ID must be entered in the Alternate ID field for the customer in PointCentral for the integration to share data. This must be added for any new property after its initial installation. If reservations exist in Hostaway for the location before integration, contact apisupport@pointcentral.com for assistance with a manual sync.
