How to match your payout?
What is the Total Payout made of?
The "Total Payout", is the amount that property managers will receive in their bank accounts after commissions and payment fees.
Unlike the "Total Price" the "Total Payout" has no breakdown in our system. It will be through the formulas that we will obtain the amount that the property manager will receive per booking, if the bank includes commissions these should be included in the formula.
Understanding the Total Payout formula
To create your "Total Payout" formula you can use either the Formula Wizard or "Add custom formula" in Financial Reporting > Financial Settings.
Once you have created your "Total Payout" formula you will be able to visualize the outcome of the formula in different places within the system:
- On a Reservation level under Financial Fields and formulas
- On Rental Activity. You can add the "Total payout" to the values that are being displayed in the table by clicking on the gear icon and selecting it
The "Total Payout" per channel
Each channel has different ways of calculating the "Total Payout". Depending on your channel configuration, the "Total Payout" may also be different.
Below you will see an example of what makes up the "Total Payout" formulas that the Formula Wizard creates for each channel and at the end the "Final formula" that could include all or some of the others:
Please note that any fees taken by the bank are excluded from the default results.
