Hostaway Mobile App

You can download the Hostaway Mobile App for Android and iOS.

• Due to our security requirements, the app used must be official and downloaded through our supported app stores
• Hostaway Mobile App is only supported on iOS 16 and later*
• Currently, only iOS or Android devices with access to Google Play can fully support the Hostaway App
• Huawei devices are not fully supported at this time. However, it's still possible to use the browser version on your mobile.

*Important Information about Hostaway Mobile App Version Compatibility

Change

For Hostaway Mobile App version 1.32.3 and onwards, the minimal supported iOS version will stop being 16.0 and instead will require iOS 16.4

Impact

Users on iOS 16.0 will therefore not get any future updates (being the first update missed version 1.32.3).

What to do

Affected users need to update their iOS version from 16.0 to 16.4 in order to be able to update the Hostaway app to the most current version.

What can I manage in the Mobile App?

The main account owner or a user with the right access can manage the following features in the mobile app:

• Calendar
• Inbox
• Reservations
• Tasks

Each user can download and access the Mobile App using their email address. Depending on the rights and permissions will see fewer or more available features and information. It can be adjusted in User Management.

Only calendar notes are visible in the mobile app calendar; host and guest notes are not visible in the app calendar, only in the reservation details.

Which languages does the Mobile App support?

The mobile app supports multiple languages depending on your phone's language settings:

• Spanish
• Portuguese
• French
• Italian

If your phone's system is set to any of these languages, the app will automatically update to support your preference.

Can I use the Movile App if I have modified my iPhone?

For security reasons, the Hostaway App is unavailable on rooted/modified iOS, and the following message will be displayed:

"Your device appears to be running a modified operating system, which could impact the security and integrity of your data. For your protection, this app cannot be used on devices with modified or "jailbroken" systems".
