Connecting your Hostaway account allows HostBuddy AI to integrate smoothly with your property management system to allow for channel messaging and expedited onboarding.
How to connect with HostBuddy AI
Steps on Hostaway
- Go to Hostaway Dashboard
- Click on Marketplace within the dashboard
- Search for HostBuddy AI and click on the "Connect" button

A small box will appear > Click on "Create"

The Account ID and the API Key will be presented on a new window

Copy your Account ID and API Key and keep it somewhere safe for later
Steps on HostBuddy AI
- Click the “PMS Integration” button on your “Properties” page
- Select Hostaway and click “Continue”. You will be redirected to a secure integrations page where you can enter your Hostaway Account ID and API key from step 6 above to connect with HostBuddy
- Once you have added your API key and Account ID to the HostBuddy integrations page, you will be redirected to the Properties page, where " Hostaway " is listed on the top right. If you have trouble locating the required information, you can navigate to Hostaway's instruction page here.
- After you have connected Hostaway, you will select “Import Properties”. Here you can select which properties you would like to build a HostBuddy integration with. After selecting all desired properties, click “Import These Properties” at the bottom of your screen.
- Please note: It can take some time for the listings to connect after you have added your integrations. You can take this time to grab a coffee or begin writing down common questions that you receive from guests that can be used while testing.
