AI Context
Hostaway AI uses more than just the Knowledge Base to draft replies. It also takes into account additional context available in the system to generate more accurate and relevant responses.
You can review this context directly in the dashboard:
- Go to Inbox
- Open AI Replies
- Select Context
The Context panel shows the information Hostaway AI uses when drafting replies or generating automatic responses for guests.
Types of context used by Hostaway AI
Hostaway AI may use the following types of context:
Knowledge Base
- All added facts across all listings
Current Availability Status
- Whether the listing has same-day check-in on the guest’s departure date
- Whether the listing has same-day check-out on the guest’s arrival date
- Whether the listing is available one day before the guest’s arrival date
- Whether the listing is available on the guest’s departure date
Calendar Availability
- Available date ranges (start date – end date)
- Blocked or unavailable date ranges, including the reason (for example, booked, owner block, or maintenance)
- Minimum and maximum night stay requirements by date range
Conversation Messages
- All incoming messages
- All outgoing messages
Listing Details
- Description
- Amenities
- Cancellation policy
- Cleaning status
- External name, address, and city
- Number and type of bathrooms
- Bedrooms, beds, and their number and type
- House rules
- Key pickup instructions
- Maximum number of children and pets allowed
