How to Schedule Recurring Tasks?
Hostaway software allows you to create Auto-tasks not related to a specific reservation. Automating scheduling tasks unrelated to reservations like scheduled maintenance or end-of-month admin tasks is easy by selecting in the Auto-task Schedule Event section "Recurring".

Please note that this feature is not activated by default, so you will need to contact us so that we can activate it.
To create a Scheduled Recurring Task please follow the next steps:
- Go to your Hostaway Dashboard > Tasks > Manage Auto-tasks
- Click on Add Auto-task > Click on the "Event" drop-down > Select "Recurring"
- Choose a title for the task
- Fill in the required fields
- Turn on the toggle "Active"
- Save Auto-task
- You can create the task with a specific recurring schedule - every X days/weeks/months. Days of the week can also be selected for weekly repeat tasks, and an end time for the repetition can also be set.
- Recurring tasks are created for up to a month into the future and are constantly updated. Disabling or deleting the auto-task will also delete any associated future tasks that haven't been completed.
- Changing an auto-task setting such as supervisor, assignee, or start/end times, will have the option to apply the changes to upcoming active tasks, however, keep in mind it will not apply the changes if the task was already modified manually by the assignee or admin user. Direct changes such as manual assignation of the task or to the task configuration will override any future automatic changes from the auto-task.
