Introduction
As part of our commitment to ensure the utmost security and privacy of your information, we have implemented security measures within the Hostaway Platform. All users are required to utilize Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) via SMS.
What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
If you are unfamiliar with 2FA, it is a security measure designed to add an extra layer of protection to your account. Instead of only entering your password to log in, 2FA requires an additional piece of information: A unique code is sent to your mobile phone via SMS.
This means even if someone knows your password, they will not be able to access your account without also having your phone.
An additional recommended step to ensure your privacy and safety includes creating strong passwords.
