Learn how to create Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy pages for your Booking Website Pro site to build trust and comply with regulations.
Why these pages matter
Legal pages build trust and help you comply with regulations. When a guest lands on your direct booking website, they are making a trust decision. Unlike booking through OTAs — where the platform itself provides credibility — your direct website needs to earn that trust on its own. Clear Terms and Conditions and a Privacy Policy show that you run a legitimate business and explain your booking rules and how you handle guest data.
Creating the pages
Booking Website Pro uses reusable sections, so you can create your Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy pages once and reuse the same style across your site.
To create these pages:
- Go to your Hostaway Dashboard > Booking Website
- Choose the Booking Website Pro you would like to edit
- Click on the name of the website > Click on Site editor
- Click on Pages > Click on the green button + Add Page
- Click on Blank Page
- Enter a Page Name (e.g., Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy) and click on + Add Page
- The new page is now available in the Pages tab
- Click on the page to edit it, then click Add Section > select the Designed option
- Select a "Text block" and switch to "Custom". That's where you will find legal pages
- Add the relevant text content and customize it to your style
The pages are created in the site's main language (English by default).
