Hostaway lets you offer Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) through Stripe Connect for your connected Stripe accounts. You can manage these settings per Hostaway-connected Stripe account, depending on how you’ve set up payments.
Supported payment methods
Hostaway supports all APMs. Availability can vary by guest device, browser, and wallet setup.
Recommended (default) methods to keep enabled
- Cards (recommended to always keep enabled)
- Link
- Google Pay
- Apple Pay
Optional methods
- Klarna
- Amazon Pay
- Revolut Pay
Payment methods that are currently not supported cannot be enabled.
Where guests can use enabled APMs
When enabled for a connected Stripe account, supported payment methods can appear in:
- Booking Engine
- Guest Portal
- Payment Links
Hostaway’s payment experience will automatically show the best available methods for each guest based on their device and eligibility. If a method is enabled but a guest can’t use it, it won’t be shown at checkout.
How to enable/disable APMs per connected Stripe account
- In Hostaway, open the connected Stripe account on your dashboard.
- Click the link to Stripe’s Payment Methods section.
