Learn how to connect multiple Vrbo accounts to Hostaway, what requirements apply to each account, and how to avoid export and mapping issues.

Connect multiple Vrbo accounts

For each Vrbo account:

• You will need to contact Vrbo and fill out the contact form: signed content API contract.
• During the sign-up process, you must use a single email address per Vrbo account. If you use the same email address for multiple sign-ups, your Vrbo connection will suffer issues when trying to connect initially or when exporting or mapping listings to Vrbo
• Listings cannot be moved between Vrbo accounts as-is. To move a listing to a different Vrbo account, you must first archive it in the original account and then export it from Hostaway as a new listing into the destination account. Connect multiple Vrbo accounts to one Hostaway account

1. Go to your Hostaway Dashboard > Channel Manager > Channels > Click on Vrbo > Configure
2. Click on Manage Vrbo Accounts > Enter a name, and press the Add button:
   • The account name can be edited by pressing the pencil button next to it

   • Under the account name, you will see the advertiser ID. This is the ID that needs to be provided to Vrbo when connecting the account to Hostaway. The advertiser ID contains the Hostaway account ID and an extra number that goes up consecutively

   • The new account ID will only be recognized by Vrbo on the API contract once you have exported listings under the account to Vrbo

3. Export your listings to Vrbo accounts
   • Each listing can only be exported once to a Vrbo account and property. To list the same property in a different Vrbo account, archive the listing in the original account and export it as a new listing into the destination account. 4. When selecting a Vrbo account from the dropdown, we only show the listings that are:
   • Mapped to that Vrbo account
   • Are not mapped to any Vrbo account at all
