How to set up Cancellation Policy? Follow
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policies determine the guest's refund in the rare event that they cancel a reservation. They range from Flexible to No Refund policies. With the latest release, you will see a cancellation policy for each OTA, their description and any other related setting (such as custom cancellation policies or Airbnb non-refundable discounts) now it is possible to modify the cancellation policy individually for each OTA.
How to Set the Cancellation Policy?
Go to Listings > Click on Edit > Go to Additional info > Scroll down to Cancellation policy
You can set the Cancellation policy as shown above:
- Cancellation Policy for OTAs - You can set a Cancellation policy for Hostaway, Vrbo, Airbnb, Marriott and Booking.com Channels.
- Cancellation Policy for Hostaway Channels (Website/ Booking Engine, WordPress, direct reservations and via the public API)

For Booking.com; We only export the policy when using the Content API. We export it 1 time. It will have to be changed on Booking.com afterwards.

You can Customize the Vrbo Cancellation Policy : Select Custom > Click on Edit > Pop will appear > Update the policy

You also have the option to amend the cancellation policy as you require for direct channels and create a custom cancellation policy by clicking on the 'Edit' button available next to each cancellation policies
Then you can set up a new policy as per your requirement with multiple conditions. The selected policy will appear in direct channels such as the booking engine.
