Can I edit the Payment Status of a Hostaway Reservation?
No. The Payment Status of a Hostaway reservation cannot be edited manually.
To prevent confusion and discrepancies, the reservation payment status is automatically calculated based on:
- Total reservation price
- Amount recorded in paid charges
This means the status will always be determined by the difference between the total price and the total amount of paid charges.
Possible payment statuses include:
- Unpaid
- Partially Paid
- Paid
No manual action is required to update the payment status itself.
If you want a reservation to appear as Paid, you must add a manual charge for the corresponding paid amount. Once the charge is marked as paid, the reservation payment status will update automatically.
