Vrbo content (API sync)
There are two types of Vrbo connections: API integration and iCal. API integration allows you to sync your calendar and content-related updates fully. iCal connection updates are for availability only.

How to update the listing content?
If you would like to change some settings at a listing level, for example, maximum person capacity, please go to Listing > Edit > Basic info > Person capacity > change the number and save it:
The Save & Export button will appear, and synchronization with VRBO can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the amount and type of information being synced.
How can I know which field can be updated?
You can click on the circle next to the specific settings, and you will see the following:
If it shows "Connect", updates will be synced with Vrbo automatically.
VRBO Children Policy: Setting Category Options Correctly
- If you do not accept children on VRBO, ensure that:
- The “Suitable for children” option is not selected in your category policy.

- Baby monitor — Category: Children
- Stair gate — Category: Children
- Window guards — Category: Safety
- Cabinet locks — Category: Safety
- If you do accept children on VRBO, ensure that:
- The “Suitable for children” option is selected in your category policy.
- At least one of the following amenities is selected, since Vrbo will reject the export if no children's amenity is selected while children/infants are allowed:
- Baby monitor — Category: Children
- Baby Crib — Category: Children (select if you have it as a bed type)
- Stair gate — Category: Children
- Window guards — Category: Safety
- Cabinet locks — Category: Safety
