Use this guide to add an owner stay through the mobile app, understand how owner stays are handled in the system, and review how they appear in financial reporting and the reservations module.
You can easily add owner stays via the mobile app.
Also known as owner blocks, owner stays are booked days when the owner of a listing, or someone on their behalf, is staying at the property:
- Owner stays are not charged, so when creating an owner stay, all fields related to monetary values are hidden. Moreover, no auto-invoices, auto-messages, or auto-charges will be created.
- However, owner stays will generate auto-tasks.
- The owner appears in Financial Reporting as such, allowing you to keep track of the owner’s use of the property. They are also filterable in the Reservations module.
To add an owner stay, please follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Reservation > Click on the + icon
- Select the Property > Click on Next
- Choose the Date > Click on Next

Fill the necessary details > Select the status as Owner stay > Apply > Click on Next
- You can leave the payment page empty and click on Submit
- Owner Stay has been created successfully
- You can see the Owner's stay reservation in the calendar in a blue icon
