It's important to note that Hostaway's integrated payment processors, such as Stripe and Braintree, currently only support credit card payments. They do not offer the ability to collect payments through alternative methods like PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. If you want to accept these alternative payment options externally you can use the offline charge option to reflect that payment in the reservation.
Changing Payment Provider
- Suppose your Hostaway account is connected to any payment provider and you want to change to a different one.
- In that case, it is important to delete any existing Auto-payments and create new ones so they will be connected to the new payment processor.
- Just so you know, the new payment processor will only process charges for new reservations after its connection, any past reservations created would still need to be charged through the previous payment processor.
