Bulk Editing Listings Content and Settings

Updating listings can be time-consuming. With this feature, you'll be able to update settings in all listings (or just some of them) with just one single action.

In the listing edit page, you will see a new button in several tabs allowing you to copy settings from those tabs to other listings, and export the changes to channels.

This feature is the result of carefully listening to our customers and understanding this key feature needed in Hostaway.
The majority of channels (for example Airbnb) do not have such a feature nor do other PMS, making you have to edit settings in listings one by one.

How can you use the feature? 

In the listing edit page, you can use this feature in the tabs: amenities, price & fees, additional info, contact person, custom fields and invoicing.

When pressing the button identified above, you'll be asked which of the settings in the tab you want to copy to other listings. You can then mark the checkbox and select the ones you wish to be copied to all your other listings.
Note: only save values will be copied, so if you changed a value you'll need to save it first and can only copy it after saved

In the next step, you can choose to which listings you want to copy the selected fields. You can search the listings by name, ID or tag. The current listing (the original from which settings are copied) is not visible.

In the next step, you can choose whether you want to export the changes to channels or just save them in Hostaway. You can click "Read more about this here." below each channel for more information on the export process.

If you choose not to export the changes immediately, they will be exported the next time we export the listing content to the channel.

User permissions

By default, this feature will only be available to admin and owner-type users. This can be changed under user management.

1. The permission is called “Bulk edit listings” and has only one checkbox - modify.

2. The permission is turned on for Templates: Owners and admins.
