A sub-processor (or "service provider" under CCPA) is a third-party company that Hostaway engages solely to help deliver our platform and services. They may only process your personal data for the purposes we define, under our instruction, and in accordance with applicable data protection laws, and may not use it for their own purposes.

Should Hostaway need to designate further sub-processors or make any change to the existing sub-processors, Hostaway will inform the Customer of any intended change about the involvement or replacement of sub-processors in text form at least fourteen (14) calendar days before such change, allowing the Customer to object to such change on grounds relating to data protection.
To the extent an intended change is necessary for compliance with any associated laws, the notice period is appropriately shortened. If Hostaway engages a sub-processor to carry out specific Processing activities, Hostaway will impose the same data protection obligations as set out in our Terms of Service.
