Feature Request – Mobile App Conversation Assignment & Profile Defaulting
Dear Hostaway Team,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out to request two important features that would greatly improve our workflow and help our team manage a growing volume of inquiries across multiple platforms:
1. Ability to Assign Conversations via the Mobile App
Currently, we can only assign or re-assign conversations to specific employees from the Hostaway dashboard. It would be immensely helpful to do the same from the Hostaway mobile app. This functionality would allow us to distribute incoming queries across various channels (Airbnb, Vrbo, etc.) on the go without being tied to a desktop.
2. Default Airbnb Profile per Co-host in the Mobile App
We’ve noticed that when a co-host responds from the mobile app, the Airbnb profile defaults to whichever profile was last used in the inbox. We’d like each co-host to automatically respond from their own assigned Airbnb profile by default. For example, Karen (a co-host in Europe) should always respond under her “Karen” profile instead of accidentally replying as “Juan” (another co-host in the USA).
Having these two features would dramatically streamline our guest communication. We recently migrated from Guesty, and this was a key function we hoped to find in Hostaway. I’d be more than willing to participate in beta testing if that helps expedite or refine these features.
