Airbnb rule set - Based of number of guests
-
What is the idea/improvement you'd like to see implemented?
I would like to see the implementation of a ruleset within Airbnb that allows hosts to limit the number of guests in their listing in exchange for a discounted rate. This feature would enable hosts to set specific guest limits (e.g., 1-2 guests) at a lower price point, making it more appealing for solo travelers or couples looking for budget-friendly options. -
What problem would this solve for you?
This feature would address the issue of accommodating different types of travelers while maximizing occupancy. Many hosts find that their properties can cater to smaller groups, but current pricing structures often do not reflect this flexibility. By offering a lower rate for fewer guests, hosts can attract a wider range of guests and reduce the likelihood of underbooking during off-peak times. -
What are you currently doing to work around this issue?
Currently, I often adjust my pricing manually based on the number of guests, which can be time-consuming and inconsistent. I also struggle with setting a standard rate that balances attracting larger groups while still appealing to solo travelers or couples. Implementing a guest limitation ruleset would streamline this process and enhance my listing’s appeal.
