Owner Statement Template

We are a VRM company managing 30 properties. Recently, we started using Hostaway for generating monthly owner statements. However, we are encountering a few seemingly basic issues related to missing features.

When generating statements, we use the Owner Statement template, add the necessary data columns, and then export the file to Excel to send to owners.

The main issue is that we generate multiple statements each month, and for each one, we must manually re-add the necessary columns and reorder them to match our preferred format. We need a feature that allows us to create a standardized template with a predefined set of columns in a fixed order. This would streamline the process and eliminate redundant manual adjustments.

I assume this issue affects any property manager handling more than five properties and generating multiple owner statements at the end of the month. I’ve attached a screenshot of the table columns we are referencing. With 30 statements, we must repeatedly re-add and manually organize the columns each time.

Please implement a feature that allows users to set custom owner statement columns and define their order. This enhancement would be highly beneficial for managers with larger portfolios.

  Hello,

  We are already working on an initiative to create statements (both manually and automatically) based on templates :) 

  We expect to start rolling this out in around 1 month.

  In the meantime, and in case it helps, it would be a good idea to depart from already created statements, adjust the dates, and save them with a different name. This way, there will be no need to re-organize columns and other settings, and the result will be a separate, new statement

  We have saved an owner statement with the layout we want and called it Owner Statement Template so we can just call this up each time we have a new property, otherwise we call up previous owner statement for property, change the dates and save it with a new name....just make sure you don't overwrite an existing live statement
