Date Format needs to standardized and selectable
The problem is that you are using 3 different formats for dates in different areas of the website.
For instance:
Under Inbox, in the left hand column showing the various guest message streams, it shows the guest name in bold, and underneath the guest name, it shows their check in and check out dates. The format for this is DD/MM/YY with the month showing as a 3 day abbreviation:
i.e. 17 Jan 25 -> 20 Jan 25
Under Reservations it shows dates in the Check-in date field as MM/DD/YYYY with the month showing as a 3 day abbreviation.
i.e. Jan 17, 2025
In any of the filters, when selecting date ranges, the dates show as YYYY/MM/DD.
i.e. From: 2025-01-18
So in 3 different places you use the following formats:
DD/MM/YY
MM/DD/YY
YYYY/MM/DD
So there is a complete inconsistency in how dates are displayed throughout the website. Furthermore, like most apps that are global in nature, the app should provide an option for the user to select what date format they want to see. That way no matter what part of the world someone is in, they can select the date format that they are used to dealing with.
Working in a date format that is not what you are used to can lead to making errors based on incorrectly reading a date, furthermore, using 3 different date formats just adds to the potential for someone to misread a date.
It would be great if you could standardize on a date format throughout your entire website as well as provide an option for each user to select the date format they want to see displayed.
Thank you.
