Please make unpaid reservations in Calendar RED !!! Very important
AnsweredPLEASE make reservations which are not paid yet RED in the CALENDER as soon as possible and indeed also other color for not fully paid as well. That was a feature which I really miss from my other booking system !!!! Please make this a PRIO. I am really sure everyone likes this.

Hello this is Yanni, senior product manager at Hostaway. Thank you everyone for your feedback. We'll for sure bring some additional calendar visualisation options in the future, including requests like this, but unfortunately it's not on our short term roadmap so I can't share any ETA.

This is something that your customer base has been asking months for. We all spend too much time reviewing our reservations to make sure they are paid and up to date. Please change the color status of reservations. Unpaid red, partially paid yellow and fully paid green. This gives us the opportunity to see the reservation status at a quick glance. Please give your customers what we are asking for and please make a priority!!! Thank you!

Yes they have to change that ASAP lost a lot of money already. They said to me it is a priority now but could not give me a timeline. So we have to keep this so active as possible !

Sometimes guests say they want to reserve so I reserve it for them but then they did not pay and do not say that 😬 Also with booking.com bookings so want to see that in my calendar !

I agree Franciscus, I have been asking for this for almost a year. It is a very important feature to me. Again, I hope they will listen to their customers request.

So I did upvote this request. I am a new Hostaway user and this is what I found helped me.
I changed my filters on the Reservations page to address this. So the default Reservation filter comes up showing like the next 6 months of all reservations including inquires etc.. but it is pretty cluttered.
I have changed the filter to show the Status of Confirmed or New so I am no longer looking at inquires, but then I added the columns, Channel, Payment Status, and Rental Agreement Status.
Now at a quick look on the Reservations page I see pretty much what I want to see at a quick glance. I know who still has not signed my rental agreement and I can see who has paid, partially paid or not paid.
This might help you in the short haul.
By the way I was told by my onboarding person that the feature to create custom view under Reservations is coming.0 -
Yes i am aware of that but that costs a lot of time while i choose hostaway to safe me time. Very easy fix to make that bookings red in the calender were we all looking at a couple of times a day ☝️

I badly need this. We loose revenue weekly because of the lack of this feature, and I notice too late that someone hasn't paid.

Need this! We manage quite a few homes with 100 guests per month on three different platforms, it would be nice to quickly notice if a payment had not been fulfilled.

Hostvisors investigated this and we can provide a fix for anyone interested. We can send you a list (daily/hourly/2x a day etc) of who has not paid. We can also build a dashboard for you to display this in our Ops platform or even in a google sheet.
The API does not give us an option to change the colors on the calendar but we do have this solution until HA decides to address this feature. Feel free to reach out if you would like to talk. We are on the marketplace.

This would be a great feature. I manually track these, but having a second layer of defense can keep one from slipping through the cracks.

Still no update from HostAway re. this. Very disappointing. They keep adding new features that seem a lot more complicating than this one. I have a feeling they aren't reading guest notes here at all.

This request has been active for over 3 months and no response from Hostaway at all to address. I have used very simplistic platforms in the past that were able to implement this idea, so not sure why a system as robust as Hostaway is not.

As a new user to Hostaway, and as someone who would also appreciate and benefit from this feature, I am shocked at how long it has been open and how many people are begging for it and still no update from Hostaway? Disappointing. How hard could it be to change the style of the calendar or to add some sort of indicator that is blatantly obvious when an upcoming reservation isnt paid? My old PMS had this feature, please make this a priority Hostaway.
