Add New Mandatory Fees to Marriott Channel

I am writing to request your assistance in enabling an option to add various types of Mandatory Fees to the Marriott channel. Currently, it seems that the system does not support the inclusion of fees beyond the standard Cleaning Fee (as applied across all OTAs), which poses challenges for properties like ours that need to transparently apply additional mandatory charges.

To ensure compliance with local regulations and provide clarity for our guests, we propose adding functionality similar to what is available on other platforms, such as:

• "Other Fees" on Vrbo.
• "Resort Fee" on Airbnb.

We believe that implementing this feature would enhance system flexibility for all Marriott properties and improve the overall guest booking experience by ensuring transparency and ease of use.

Could you please advise if such functionality is currently available or if there are plans to develop and implement this feature in the future?

  Agreed! Adding support for a management fee would be exactly what we need, as all other channels support this feature. Currently, we offset the fee with a markup.
