Ability for Guests to alter their reservation made via booking engine eg no of people, days
Currently a guest who under represents the number of guests who books via the booking engine, can not alter their reservation. They can not change the number of days either.
all they can do is add on upsells from the guest portal. (Airbnb and booking.com - allow them to alter dates, numbers etc)
Your software is supposed to reduce my time that I have to deal directly with guests, but in this instance it falls short and it is a common occurrence. If guests do not put the total no of guests, the rental agreement is invalid and they are not then charged the correct amount for the no of people. There is also no easy way for them to increase their stay unless I go into the reservation and do it for them and then do a manual charge.(and that is after back and forth emails which I am trying to limit)

Guests should have the option to cancel within the cancellation policy.
Some of my returning guests have mentioned that they prefer to book through Booking.com because they can cancel for free. I also offer this option on my website, but it’s not clearly communicated during the booking process.1
