Support Chargepoint EV Chargers

This is a great idea! EV chargers are a hot new amenity, but unless you have a garage you run the risk of people "poaching" the electricity, or even worse scaring or annoying your guests by showing up and poaching a charge when your guests leave for the day. It would be ideal to be able to let the guest and only the guest access the charger. Some ideas might be to have Hostaway enable the Home Flex every night during the guest's stay when the guest is likely to be parked blocking anyone else's access to the charger, and when electricity costs are lowest.

I just installed a ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 so that I can remotely control it for my guests but it still requires me to get involved. It would be so much better if Hostaway did it automatically!

A couple of our properties have EV chargers. We just list as available amenities, like the hot tub. The hot tub maintenance and electricity costs us more (by far) than the EV charger for the occasional EV guest. We don't charge for either, we just figure it translates to bookings.

If a non-guests were to "steal" our electricity for a night, we're talking maybe $10? It has never happened. The front of the houses typically have a hose bib and an external plug already, nobody has ever abused them, however we do have a camera in the driveway.
