online check-in form changes
Would like to make a quick suggestion on a few easy changes to the check-in form.
Changing the wording on the labels for the ID to be "Photo ID Number" and "Photo ID Picture" or something similar. Currently it just reads "Id number" and though this is a silly change, you would not believe the amount of questions we get on that because guests think we are asking for a reservation Id number...
In addition - the layout how it shows up on the guest view gets confusing for guests. It shows the "selfie" and "upload file" boxes right next to each other but is only labeled as "ID Photo" ...moving that to a new line and labeling both separate may help.
We also have guests that have trouble with the date of birth because they don't know the year is clickable and they get frustrated having to scroll back continuously... not sure what can be changed there but maybe making it more obvious it's a drop down menu to select year and month?
All three of these don't usually all happen at once with the same guest, but all three happen often enough it creates more work for us to help them with it rather than simplify. We can't be the only ones getting this push back and questions??

I would like to add to this. As Andres stated the layout where the selfie and photo id is located is not really clean. I end up having guests just submit two selfies at times.
The other problem is that there is no clear indicator of required fields. In just about any software around the world, required fields are flagged with a red asterisk and there is a disclaimer that that asterisk means required field. I just got a message from a guest, indicating that they they clicked on the submit button, but nothing happened. I am assuming it is because she did not enter all of the required fields.0 -
Yes, definitely agree with that too - it does not tell them what they missed, also I believe they click the submit button and nothing happens when fields are not completed - again, not making it clear they missed something and they think it went through. We also get two selfies ALL the time. Thanks for adding to this!
