A star everyone can see
The problem we are trying to solve is information exchange during shift change over.
We use the notes option in messaging and in the reservation to capture information such as an uncharge has/has not been applied, smart lock is set up, guest may change reservation etc. There is no easy way to know and see if a note has been created for a guest without clicking and reading messages from each guest at shift change.
We could use the star feature at the top of the message window but the same problem exists. Only the use that created the star can see it and only if the click on the guest's messages.
By making a star visible next to the guest's name the new person coming on shift could quickly scroll the message list and see which guests have notes that they need to read.
Bonus points if we could have different colour stars

The real solution is a simplified support desk structure where guest messaging can be moved between USER and DEPARTMENT
