Remove Door Code from Guest Portal Page that Shows Up When Credit Card Declined
Currently, when a guest puts a credit card in for a reservation and it gets declined either a incorrect number or needs a security approval to be run again there is a page that the guests have to go to to enter their new credit card info. This page shows them the door code to the property. We'd like this removed since they haven't actually completed the booking process until their payment goes through successfully. We then have to manually monitor that reservation until the payment gets fixed since they can now checkin using their door code. This also seems a bit misleading to the guests. We do have an automated message that clarifies this but it would just be cleaner to not have it show up until payment is successful.
