Ability to remove Categories that were wrongfully input

While adding a category to my expenses I typed in two letters and pushed enter to search, not knowing that it would automatically add a new category. Now I need it removed. Hostaway says that I can't remove it & have to put this feature request in. It should be either harder to create categories, or ideally a way to delete the ones that are created. Please make that.

  Same here, I want to make sure I only have Main Categories.

  and remove the ones I don't want anymore to not mis categorize.
