Guest Reservation Modifications

Can we add a feature that would allow a guest to modify their reservation thru their guest portal? ie request a cancellation, modify their dates etc? |

This would be incredibly helpful/useful as we are nearly 70% direct bookings at this point...

Please Please, this seems like a basic function. The guest currently does not have control of their reservation (airbnb can do it and booking.com as well I think) Guests who book direct (50% of our bookings) can not modifiy their dates, eg extend their visit or change dates if there is an issue. It would be helpful if they are within a pre-set no of days to allow say a cancellation request automatically with a % deducted (for stipe fees) or a cancel request with the ability to refund automatically (with fee).

Yes this functionality seems like a basic function that should be available for guests using the guest portal! We were very surprised when we realized this is not yet available, considering how good Hostaway is for most things. Adjusting dates and number of guests, and having the option to cancel their reservation if need be should be within the guest's control to reduce how much manual work it is for us as hosts.
