Upsells only become purchasable after trigger event

1.) What is the idea/improvement you'd like to see implemented?

Event triggered upsells. Common Example, guest could see early check in / late check out upsells in their guest portal always however they don't become available to select and purchase until 24hours before check in.

2.) What problem would this solve for you?

This is helpful for marketing upsells to guests as they can always see the options, however we dont want them to complete the purchase pre mature before we can confirm an early check in and have to refund the guest. If we use the current visibility settings that can help the pre mature purchase issue but then misses the opportunity for the guest to see it is a potential future option during there booking. 
3.) What are you currently doing to work around this issue?

We always show the upsells as available for purchase but often guests purchase them pre maturely without reading fine print and we have to refund when they purchase and its unavailable (example, purchase early check in, but cannot accommodate due to turnover schedule). We lose revenue due to CC fees and also wasted time dealing with refunds and explanation to guests.
