Add More Options and Transparency to Dynamic Pricing
1.) What is the idea/improvement you'd like to see implemented?
Currently, Dynamic Pricing has a few options to tweak how it sets prices (e.g. Conservative vs Recommended vs Aggressive):

I would argue that these options are not very meaningful because they don't provide information about the predicted occupancy and total revenue given each setting. For example, you might choose "aggressive" but end up with only a few bookings such that your total revenue is way down.
Instead, I would recommend settings that allow you to more precisely specify what you are targeting. For example, providing an option for maximizing total revenue (i.e. days occupied x average price per day). This would probably be what most people opt for, but some people might want to target a percent occupancy while maximizing revenue. For example, maybe they do their own cleaning and only want to clean their property a few times per month. Given that, what price should they set to get approximately their specified level of occupancy? Other people might want to maximize occupancy without prioritizing total revenue because they are e.g. trying to quickly boost their ratings or something.
It would also be great if there was more transparency about what features are used to build the dynamic pricing model. For example, does it account for amenities such as AC, distance from the beach, the fact that I am a superhost on Airbnb, etc? Once greater transparency was offered, it would be amazing if one could customize the model based on features that one considers important to one's property. To provide an extreme example, maybe the only thing you think is important about your property is how close it is to the beach. In that case, you might choose to only use pricing from other properties based on their distance from the beach and nothing else. Hopefully, that extreme case communicates what I have in mind in terms of customizing the model.
2.) What problem would this solve for you?
All of this would give me greater control and insight into my bookings and revenue.
3.) What are you currently doing to work around this issue?
There is currently no workaround for this.
