Same Day Bookings on Booking Engine

There needs to be a feature to restrict same day bookings via the booking engine to a specific timeframe similar to airbnb. We restrict airbnb guests from booking same day past 9P but we are now booking over 75% direct and need that functionality to restrict direct guests from booking after 9P same day.

Hi everyone. Thank you for your feedback. We haven't thought about it and because of that, it is not on our roadmap. But will look into it and see where it can be added.

Agreed.
We received a same-day reservation from a repeat guest at 11 p.m. one night! We had to reluctantly administer it, but we would have preferred not to at that time of night.
We have a 7 pm Same Day reservation cut off with the OTAs.0 -
Absolutely, also the ability to turn off one specific days. For example if we are not open or available on a sunday there are situations where we would not want to take a last minute booking post 5pm on the saturday until the monday morning as we would have no staff to facilitate check in etc as we dont open sundays

I also need this. I got a booking on Booking.com at 11:30 pm. I need to have a cut off time. The only place I can see to have a cut off time for a same day booking is Airbnb.

@natasha for bookingdotcom same day reservation cut off is controlled in the extranet. We have it set to 5h which means no bookings after 7pm daily. The setting is based on time before midnight. I tact their partner support as this setting cannot be currently controlled inside HA.

Thanks Imran! Do you know where to find that setting? I looked in calendar but it says I cannot adjust the setting because of Hostaway. I have searched and messaged Booking.com but they are useless.

Being able to choose timeframe would be great. For example, I would like to cut off reservations a day prior at 9 pm.
