Highlight unpaid guests in different colour on calendar view
AnsweredSometimes guests do not finalise their booking (add card details) when they book via phone and I send the guest portal link for them. I need to remember to manually check if the guest has paid, otherwise the booking stays in the system but not paid. I shouldn't have to remember to do this manually. Please change the colour of any booking on mobile calendar view where the status isn't 'paid' so that staff can easily keep an eye on these bookings and send reminders.
If a guest hasn't paid, there is nothing stopping them from not arriving when booked, resulting to revenue loss for us.

Thank you all for your feedback. When we're going to be rolling out more improvements to the calendar in the future, we will consider this one for sure.

I have requested this before. Most PMS systems have paid and unpaid reservations as different colors. I spend way too much time checking each reservations unto 60 days out to make sure they are all paid in full. Please Please Please change the color of unpaid or partially paid reservations.

On a different PMS, we used in the past, the multi-calendar had VIEW OPTIONS separate from the regular bookings view.
PAYMENT STATUS: Traffic light colours for UNPAID, PARTIALLY PAID, FULLY PAID
CLEANING TASKS VIEW: Only displayed TASKS due on a particular date.1 -
I agree and I hope they will add that here. My old PMS system had similar. Red was unpaid, green was paid. Yellow was partially paid. This makes it so easy to see where each reservation stands at just a glance.

All the other pms Ive used in the past has this by default. This feature should be a standard! Please implement this much needed feature asap!

Thank you for considering this, I would be a huge plus for the calendar!! Just today I was looking ahead a two reservations had not been paid and I could have easily missed those. Really appreciate the consideration!!

I want to add that I would greatly appreciate this feature. I would also like to have a 4th color that will show the guest has checked in. With so many paying before they arrive, it would help my staff to be able to quickly see who has both paid and has arrived for the day.

Yes I really want to see unpaid on the calendar in a different colour (was going to list it myself as a request) or even an email notification if the reservation is not paid for in a certain number of days prior. We just have to keep checking and it wastes time.

Hi Melissa, we have auto messages set up that notify both the guest and ourselves when payment has not been received. You can set your triggers according to your needs. Hope that helps.

The last HostAway's comment on this was 5 months ago. Nothing has been done. Us users keep loosing revenue weekly because of unpaid bookings that we haven't noticed on time. Today alone I lost EUR 250 because of a guest who was due to arrive today but hadn't paid, and isn't arriving. PLEASE do something! We need the main calendar, on the mobile app, to show partial and unpaid bookings in different colour. This cannot be very difficult to implement and we need this.
