sending messages
Hi
I would like the feature to be added that I can choose in my messaging how it gets sent either, cell number, email, or channel. Even with the automated messages. It seems now when I choose send via email it goes back to default channel messaging. Please let me know if there is a way to keep it as one of the other options.

Agreed! When selecting "email" as the delivery method, it ends up delivering over the channel if it's a channel reservation. This is confusing since in the list of delivery methods we also have the "channel" option. Since we have both options to select, the intuitive and more importantly, useful, approach would be to actually send messages over email if "email" was selected, and only send over the channel if channel was selected.
Karen: Please upvote your post yourself. The way Hostaway uses these feature requests is that they implement the ones with the most upvotes. The way to do so is by clicking the tiny up arrow above the number of votes is has (under the Follow button, but not the Follow button itself).

This would be really useful if you collate emails as part of the guest portal and send the guetss any information re booking direct via email rather than through the channel
