Applying taxes to upsells charged in the guest portal for Expedia and Booking.com

Currently, the Hostaway Guest Portal does not charge taxes on upsells for Expedia and Booking.com. By not collecting tax, we are cutting into the amount that we charge for our pet fees and other add-ons on these channels. The current solution is to manually charge our guests for upsells, which is not feasible if we are to provide a self-service guest portal. This shouldn't impact any of the payment coming from the channel itself, since in the guest portal, the guest is required to enter their payment information, as payment is collected by us.

  Totally agree!!!

  Hostaway is pushing hard on upsells as I can see from messages I receive from them.  

  We are required to apply taxes on all upsells, and it does not add automatically depending which platform the guests book through.  

  Taxes should be added to any upsells.  

  Please fix this!
