Dealing with reservations from employers
Hi We receive a significant number of bookings from employers booking on behalf of their employees. This causes communication problems with our automated systems as the employer invariably enters their own or the accommodation bookers email address at time of booking instead of the employee who will be the guest. This results in the automated comms going to the office administrator rather than the guest who often then contacts us when they arrive annoyed they haven't had the access code and details.
I realise there is maybe little can be done at the OTA end as it would mean Airbnb/BDC etc having an option that asked the person booking whether it was a stay for them or for someone else. However I wondered if there may be something Hostaway could to do allow hosts to use custom fields and either automated emails or automated tasks to help identify these types of reservations?
For example if we could add a custom field to the online check-in that asked "If you are booking for someone other than yourself (eg for an employee) please enter their email in order that they receive the door access details. If the custom field could be used to trigger an email to the employee or to trigger a task to prompt us to alter the booking details to include the email so that the actual guest received the email as per our automated comms schedule.

Estou com o mesmo problema com minhas reservas. Isso facilitaria muito as operações e garantiria que a informação chegasse à pessoa correta. Entendo também que mesmo que a informação chegue ao hóspede, é necessário que ela chegue à empresa contratante porque, no caso do Airbnb, influenciará diretamente no chat da plataforma caso seja utilizado o Aircover.

I have the same problem with my bookings. This would greatly facilitate operations and ensure that the information reaches the correct person. I also understand that even if the information goes to the guest, it is necessary for it to reach the contracting company because, in the case of Airbnb, it will directly influence the platform's chat if Aircover is used.
