Locks: check-out notification code
We currently use Lynx for smart lock management. They have a feature that is amazing because it makes us a lot more efficient while also making for a better guest experience. The feature is that guests are given a different door code to use to lock up on checkout. When they use this code, it disables their code and also allows us to set up notifications that notify us and the cleaners that they have checked out.
Related to this, the cleaners each also have a separate "task notification code". We can set up notifications based on when they use this code. They use it when they finish cleaning and we set it to notify back office staff, and also the incoming guest that the place is already ready for them, sometimes many hours early.
Technical: On Lynx, the checkout code gets created on the lock at 12:01am on checkout day. We share it to the guests the day before, along with the rest of the check-out instructions. It does look like the Seam API has features to support this functionality.

Hey Tommy,
Thanks for the feedback. I'll pass this along to our Product Team! -
Thanks. I would also echo support for this. This would allow us to do the same as well. We use Operto and they also have a similar feature.

I would love to see this feature as well. I switched from operto to Hostaway and I do miss that.

@karen please up-vote the request then. Hostaway prioritizes and decides whether to implement requests based on the number of upvotes they have. You can upvote it by clicking the little up arrow next to the next of the original post I made, under the "Follow" button. Thanks!
By the way, I've also used Operto and currently use Lynx. Both of them have this feature. The ONLY reason we haven't yet made the switch to Hostaway locks is because it's missing this feature.
