Stripe Upgrade connection with Hostaway Follow
Important!! The old Stripe connection will be deprecated.
Use this guide to reconnect your Stripe account with the new Stripe (Upgrade) connection.
For main Stripe account connection:
Use the below steps for your main Hostaway connected Stripe account. After a successful connection to the same Stripe account, all upcoming scheduled charges will remain working.
- Login as the main account owner to the Hostaway dashboard.
- Go to Settings - Integrations page
- For Stripe (upgrade) click on activate button and get redirected to your Stripe account.
- Accept the connection with the same Stripe account you currently use in Hostaway. (Do not click to create a new account, if your existing account doesn't show up to select, please login in a different tab to the Stripe account so that the login is already made and it shows as an option for the connection)
- After successful confirmation, you get redirected to the Hostaway dashboard.
- Important! for the old Stripe connection click on the button deactivate.
When using multiple Stripe accounts on the listing level:
Use the below steps when you have multiple Stripe accounts connected to individual Listings. After a successful connection to the same Stripe account, all upcoming scheduled charges will remain working.
- For the listing-specific accounts go to the listing - edit - payment accounts.
- Click on connect Stripe Upgrade button.
- Important! make sure you connect to the same individual Stripe account and not by accident a different Stripe account you are logged in to.
- After successful confirmation, you get redirected to the Hostaway dashboard.
- Important! for the old Stripe connection on the listing level click on the button deactivate.
For current already connected clients.
Migration is easy and only takes a couple of minutes of your time.
For clients new or not using the old Stripe version
