How to add an attachment to a Listing?
Documents can be uploaded by listing. It can be used to store private documents (contracts, etc) or documents that you would like to share via the Guest Portal (house rules, contracts, pictures, etc)
To add an attachment to a listing please follow the next steps:
- Go to your Hostaway Dashboard > Listings
- Edit Listing > Attachment
- You can upload a file by dragging and dropping or by clicking and uploading it
- Click on edit to rename the attachment and choose Public or not
- If set to Public, the attachment will be available in the Guest Portal under the Listing Info tab
- If set to not Public the file will serve for internal use only
Please note that Public Attachments are only displayed in the Guest Portal if the payment status of the reservation is "Paid" or "Partially Paid". This means that if the reservation payment status is "Unpaid" or "Unknown", public attachments will not be displayed in the Guest Portal.
