How to make the listing Active or Inactive in Vrbo?
If the listing is connected to Vrbo and you would like to deactivate it, please follow these steps:
- Go to your Hostaway Dashboard > Channel Manager
- In the Listing Mapping tab > Click on the Settings button near the listing
- Set the toggle Is listed in VRBO to Off
This will mark the listing as inactive in Vrbo without un-mapping it from your Vrbo account. To fully remove the listing from Vrbo, you must also delist the property from the Vrbo platform by logging into your Vrbo account and removing the listing.
If you would like to reactivate the listing, you can set it to “On” and in the next content update, Hostaway will send the listing to Vrbo as active.
What to do if your Vrbo listing is showing as "Off" in the Listing Mapping tab but "On" in Settings
If your Vrbo listing is showing as Off in Channel Manager > Listing Mapping tab but On in the Settings, it may not be visible on Vrbo. To resolve this issue:
- First, check the listing's status on your Vrbo dashboard
- If you are unable to identify the reason for the listing being inactive, contact Vrbo IPM Support or your account manager for further assistance
- Once the issue is resolved, the listing should become available on Vrbo
