How to create an inquiry in Hostaway?
In Hostaway you can create inquiries for the clients that are not sure about the check-in/check-out dates, number of guests, or any additional information yet. In this way, the availability will not be closed on the other channels, and you can send an inquiry to your future guest with all the information.
Go to the listing´s calendar and select the dates you want to create this inquiry for and click on add a direct booking:
Select Hostaway Direct channel:
Complete all fields that are mandatory and select the status ¨Inquiry¨:
Don´t forget to save it.
Once the client confirms that wants to continue and book your property, update the status to ¨New¨and this reservation will block your calendar and the availability will be synced with all channels.
