How to create an inquiry in Hostaway?
In Hostaway you can create inquiries for customers that are not sure about the check-in/check-out dates, number of guests, or any additional information yet. In this way, the availability will not be closed on the other channels, and you can send an inquiry to your future guests with all the information.
To create an Inquiry please follow the next steps:
- Go to the listing's Calendar > Monthly View
- Select the dates you would like to create this inquiry for and click on "Direct Booking"
- Select Hostaway Direct Channel
- Complete all mandatory fields and select the status "Inquiry"
Once the customer confirms that would like to continue and book your property, update the status to "New" and this reservation will block your calendar and the availability will be synced with all channels.
Please note that an Inquiry does not have a credit card. You will need to send the Guest Portal to collect the Credit Card
